About This Application

This application allows you to view and download images from any IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework) manifest. IIIF is a set of standard APIs that provide a standardized method for describing and delivering images over the web.

To use this app:

  1. Enter a valid IIIF manifest URL in the input field above
  2. Click "Load Manifest" to fetch and display the image
  3. Use the zoom controls to explore the image details
  4. Download the image at full resolution or at your current zoom level

The app comes pre-loaded with an example manifest for a 1927 insurance map of textile factories in Fall River, Massachusetts.
